World Photography Day: My Favourite SA Photographers

In honour of World Photography Day, I’m sharing some snapshots taken by six of my all-time favourite South African photographers.

The ultimate aim of World Photography Day is to inspire photographers around the world to share a single photo, sharing their own world with the rest of the world.

Since I’m not a photographer – merely an appreciator of photography – I decided to share a photo taken by each one of my favourite local photographers.

Strand local Coetzer Cooke specializes in events and weddings, as well as capturing his everyday life. Having known him since childhood (his parents are longtime family friends), his success story as a local who made it big and now gets to travel regularly really excites me.
